[Update] Asian Americans Making a Difference: Take Back Congress, Stop Trump

We’re so grateful for the continued great responses to our calls to action urging Asian Americans to get involved in taking back Congress!

In our first two weeks, our CAPA21 PAC raised more than $35,000 to help stop Trump and his comrades from destroying our democracy and normalizing racism, sexism and anti-immigrant virulence.

Because of your support, we’re now donating to an expanded field of candidates!
Gina Ortiz Jones (Texas 23rd)
Hiral Tipirneni (Arizona 8th)
Andy Kim (New Jersey 3rd)
T.J Cox vs. David Valadao
Andrew Janz vs. David Nunes
Harley Rouda vs. Dana Rohrabacher

“Thank you CAPA21! Your support will help us reach many more Asian American voters across the district through doors knocked, phones called, and ads on television and online.” – Andy Kim

The corruption of the Trump administration and his business and personal associates is unprecedented in modern history. With the recent conviction of Paul Manafort, the guilty plea of Michael Cohen which implicates the President, the indictment of the second Congressperson to endorse Trump (Duncan Hunter) for misusing campaign funds and the earlier guilty pleas of Michael Flynn and George Papadopoulos, we believe these scandals will seriously decrease the support Republicans need to retain the House and the Senate. And our mission is to make sure this happens!

With your help, Asian Americans can make a difference in taking back Congress and stopping the vilest president we have known. We can reverse this current climate of anti-immigration laws, hate crimes, revival of internment prisons and discrimination.

In order to do this, we need your support to help the challengers to the Trump Congress who are now within striking distance of winning the seats needed to change control of the federal legislature. In each of the Districts, Hillary Clinton defeated Trump, often by substantial margins.

Many others are fundraising for the same goal – to take back Congress – but your donation will help amplify the voices of Asian Americans in the political process and this historic moment.

We will donate to candidates who can swing districts Blue. We will also contribute to outreach and voter registration efforts that empower the Asian American community’s electoral impact.

Let’s reclaim this great nation. Donate to the CAPA21 PAC today, a political action committee I co-founded with Glen S. Fukushima. When the Democrats take back Congress, it must be known that Asian Americans played a role. Our voices and our importance must be heard and felt.

Thank you in advance for your support!

~ Dale
