CAPA21 is proud to partner with Stop AAPI Hate Action, the newly launched 501(c)(4) political and advocacy arm of Stop AAPI Hate, as it expands its mission to drive civic engagement at scale.
Stop AAPI Hate Action builds on Chinese for Affirmative Action’s (CAA) decades of community leadership and Stop AAPI Hate’s national infrastructure to mobilize AAPI communities. Stop AAPI Hate has built itself into the nation’s leading AAPI digital narrative and advocacy platform, reaching millions through social media channels, with even broader visibility through earned press, and direct engagement with nearly 300,000 followers and supporters primed to mobilize.

“For too long, AAPI communities have lacked adequate investment in infrastructure to fuel sustained political participation,” said CAPA21 Chair Tamlyn Tomita. “There is a pressing need for culturally competent, national-scale voter engagement work that meets AAPIs wherever they are. Stop AAPI Hate Action will help fill that gap by connecting communities across the country and expanding opportunities to get involved in the political process. We are proud to support this work ahead of the critical 2026 midterm elections and excited to see it grow.”
CAPA21 has donated $75,000 to Stop AAPI Hate Action to help the organization launch its ambitious voter engagement program to mobilize the AAPI vote in 10 to 12 key battleground congressional districts.
